Spring 2016

Inhabit the bark
Program: Refugees center
Location: Paris - FRANCE
This building is designed to temporarily house people in a precarious situation. It is organized so that the inhabitants dispose of the necessary intimate spaces for their daily lives and of shared areas, meeting spaces and classrooms. Through these collective spaces, they are able to rebuild themselves, interact and share conversations. As for the rooms, they can either offer intimacy and reassurance, or be more open towards outdoor spaces. The wood comes to denote with the concrete landscape bringing a warmth that is specific to the building.
